Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete cycle of accounts payable from initiating payments to suppliers.
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including logging purchase orders and issuing sales invoices.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission and recording of receipts for company expense card payments.
- Maintain and update prepayment and fixed asset spreadsheets and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Process sales invoices and ensure they are correctly uploaded to various client portals.
- Handle VAT processing, ensure accurate transaction recording for VAT purposes, and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist the Head of Finance with month-end closing procedures and the creation of financial reports.
- Propose methods to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide support to the client services team by ensuring effective use of project management software and resolving financial discrepancies.
- Administer the payroll process, coordinate employee benefits, and manage both employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain precise employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar bookkeeping or financial role.
- AAT qualifications or at least 1 years' experience in accounts
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of professionally managing stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial management software.
