Astute Recruitment are partnering with a highly recognised and well-established company based in Loughborough to help bring in a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis to join their dynamic team.
This role is ideal for an experienced clerical candidate who has a genuine passion for what they do.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all payments are made on time and in compliance with company policies
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Raising customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing
- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are received promptly
- Resolving any invoice queries or disputes
- Ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work effective both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary, benefits, and hours:
- Salary up to £24,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid - 2 days from home
- 26 days holidays plus bank holidays with an increase to 31 with service
