We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in Worthing. This role is perfect for someone who is early in their finance career and eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations within a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the reconciliation of bank statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and manage expense claims.
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Handle queries related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations and any ad hoc financial projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a finance support role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA would be advantageous.
