A temporary Finance Assistant is required to support the Finance Manager with various financial tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and VAT returns. This position is ideal for candidates who are immediately available and eager to contribute to a finance team on a temporary basis.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assisting in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Supporting the credit control operations by ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Helping prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Collaborating with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of basic financial and accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software.
