A full time vacancy has arisen for Finance Assistant to join a small Finance Team currently based in Widnes. Hours are 35 hours per week that can be managed at your own discretion within the office opening hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are required for dealing with customers on a daily basis as well as Excel and numerical proficiency.

Description
- Reconciling statements and following up on outstanding invoices/queries
- Allocating payments.
- Ensuring back-up documentation received from third party logistics partners in a timely manner.
- Verifying pricing in conjunction with Managers.
- Ad-hoc reporting requirements for Managers.
- Support Accounts Receivable Administrator during busy periods.
- Customs documentation for transport between UK and EU.
- Support Financial Controller with EU VAT returns and intrastat reporting.
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Capacity to manage a high volume of documents
