We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Accounting & Finance Department in the property sector. The role-holder will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting, including, but not limited to, sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, and nominal ledger.

Description
- Maintain accurate financial records and document transactions
- Process payments and invoices accurately and timely
- Perform general bookkeeping duties
- Raising of invoices to customers
- Processing of supplier invoices, both purchase ledger and sub-contractors
- Creation of weekly and monthly supplier payment reports
- Recording of data for inclusion in monthly payroll, and providing cover for payroll processing
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers and posting depreciation
- Support the Accounting & Finance Department in budgeting and financial planning
- Assistance with internal reporting as required
- Comply with all financial policies and regulations
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Ability to work in a pro-active manner, with the flexibility to switch between tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft office skills, in particular excel and word
- Knowledge of CIS tax and reverse Vat charge an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
