They have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their thriving, supportive finance team. You will be supporting the Finance Manager and collaborating with regional leaders, helping to shape financial strategy, prepare essential reports, and ensure that financial goals are met. Your insights will be critical in optimising processes and identifying key opportunities. This role provides the perfect platform for you to develop your skills and advance your career in finance while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.This role comes with an annual salary of up to £30,000.00.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager and regional operational teams, ensuring seamless financial processes.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly accounts, forecasts, and budgets, contributing to key financial decisions.
  • Assist with balance sheet reviews, identifying risks and opportunities to optimise financial performance.
  • Support with month-end adjustments, P&L consolidation, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Provide transactional support, including invoice processing and supplier account creation.
  • Assist finance teams with month-end journals and closing accounts, ensuring smooth operations.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Actively studying (or have exemptions towards) CIMA/ACCA.
  • Experience in a transactional finance role and have contributed towards month end/management accounts preparation.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence and desire to business partner with non-financial heads of departments.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and eager to embrace change.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
