Are you a numbers wizard with a flair for financial finesse? We are looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team, where your skills will play a crucial role in driving our financial success!

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Invoice Ninja: Manage a high volume of sales invoicing and purchase ledger entries.
  • Record Keeper Extraordinaire: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Support Squad: Assist the finance team with various administrative tasks to keep things running smoothly.
  • Job Costing Guru: Dive into job costing in a service market and bring clarity to our financials.
  • Order Management: Raise and receipt purchase orders, handle credit card transactions, and maintain meticulous purchasing logs.
  • Time Management Wizard: Oversee the time and attendance system, including holiday and sick records.
  • Payroll Partner: Collate hours for payroll and ensure accuracy in reporting on time sheets.
  • Reception Cover: Step in to provide cover for reception and support your Finance and Admin colleagues as needed.
  • Period-End Pro: Get involved in period-end trading and assist with weekly reports for QuickBooks.
  • Policy Protector: Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are followed to the letter.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Financial Foundational Skills: Experience with accounts and proficiency in SAGE or Intuit QuickBooks are a must.
  • Detail-Driven Attitude: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a multi-company environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (SAGE, QuickBooks).
  • Organised Dynamo: Exceptional organisational and time management skills to keep us on track.
