Description
As a Finance Business Manager you will:
- Collaborate with service users to deliver high-quality advice, guidance, and support.
- Oversee financial management for assigned schools, aiming to maximise income generation and assist with grant applications.
- Maintain oversight of personnel, facilities, ICT, and health and safety matters.
- Work closely with academy and Trust leadership to support the Trust's strategic plan and the school's development plan.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A good level of education, such as 5 GCSEs at grades A-C (5-9) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- SBM or Accountancy qualification, or comparable experience in an educational business environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and budgeting processes.
- Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service.
- Proficiency with computerised financial systems.
- Previous experience working within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with basic financial procedures, policies, and accounting code structures.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience in data production, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel to across school's in West Yorkshire.
