Finance Business Partner - ELITE SEARCH ASSOCIATES LIMITED : Job Details

I am delighted to be working with a Durham based oragisation who are seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Business Partner this role will be responsible for monthly management accounts, budget support and financial analysis. This is initially a fixed term contract of 12 months.

Summary of responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Reviewing variances
• Challenging budget holders to ensure effective budget control
• Budgets and re forecasts
• Providing advice to budget holders
• Financial analysis
• Liaising with budget holders, supporting and training
• Producing reports - performance, budget vs actual
• Preparing proposed budgets for the Senior Finance Management Team
• Control accounts reconciliation
• Being a point of contact for operational support regarding budgets for tenders and projects
• Annual audit production
• Mentoring staff

Person Specification:

• Ideally qualified or part qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Qualified by experience will be considered should you have considerable recent experience in a very similar role
• Strong IT , numeracy, attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience of budgeting, project planning and tendering for contract is desirable
• ERP system experience/integrated financial systems
