Finance Business Partner - DS Smith : Job Details

About the Role

We're expanding our finance department and seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team. We're looking either for someone with some FBP/commercial finance experience or someone who is keen to develop in this area. This is a permanent position, offering hybrid flexible working with 2 days a week at our Manchester HQ.

In this role, you'll support an experienced Finance Business Partner overseeing our European region for Packaging Services. It's an ideal opportunity for newly qualified or recently post-qualified individuals eager to enter this field. Responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, providing precise financial/commercial insights, and aiding in decision-making processes as well as being responsible for supporting the business stakeholders in budgeting and forecasting.

About You

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Commercial exposure required.
• Proficiency in PowerBI and SAP would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite
• Advanced excel spreadsheet skills and comfortable dealing with data sets
• Experience in a growing subsidiary or fast-paced environment advantageous
• Friendly and personable team player
• Confidence in interacting with senior business stakeholders to support and challenge
• Thrives in collaborative, multinational environments.
• Ability to interact effectively with global teams.
