Finance Business Partner - The One Group : Job Details

Role: Finance Business Partner

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Employment Type: 3 -4 Months Contract initially

Working Hours: 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday

The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is excited in working with a successful organisation in recruiting for a Finance Business Partner. The role will be reporting to the Head of Finance and you will be responsible for strategic financial analysis to key stakeholders, supporting the understanding of financial performance and ensuring efficient resource allocation by aligning finance with financial requirements.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing effective strategic financial advice and ensuring KPIs are met
• Ensure monthly reports are accurate, relevant, and support decision-making at all levels, in line with CFO requirements and best practices
• Provide analysis and insights that align financial reports with organisational strategies
• Offer ongoing high-level financial support and guidance to stakeholders
• Advise budget holders on developing and submitting business cases, emphasising sound financial management
• Conduct project-based work for specific initiatives
• Provide necessary information to external bodies, such as auditors or regulatory agencies
• Perform other duties as and when required

As the Finance Business Partner, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Qualified professional accountant or Finalist
• Experience and understanding of Finance Business Partnering, both strategically and operationally
• Creative and pragmatic problem solver, able to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial leaders and managers
• A commitment to continuous improvement and alignment with our core values and behaviours
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
