Job Overview:A prestigious FTSE 100 company based in the West Midlands is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team. This role will work closely with the Marketing and/or Trades teams to drive profitability optimisation and support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive finance professional with a strong commercial acumen and experience in partnering with non-finance teams to deliver strategic insights and financial guidance.Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Marketing and Trades teams to provide financial insight and analysis that optimises profitability across the business.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Provide decision support through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency, revenue growth, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities within marketing and trade channels, advising on corrective actions where necessary.
- Track and monitor key financial metrics to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packs, highlighting trends and key variances.
- Continuously seek improvements in financial processes and reporting to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, preferably within a FTSE 100 or large corporate environment.
- Strong experience partnering with Marketing and/or Trades teams to drive profitability and financial performance.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to link financial performance with business strategy.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, particularly with non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
