Key responsibilities for Finance Business Partner:
- Provide sound financial advice to department leaders.
- Analyse and interpret complex financial data to aid decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor spending and identify areas for cost saving.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the organisation.
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the public sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and financial management software.
