Finance Business Partner required for Brighton based Charity with an excellent reputation

Description

To prepare annual budgets and forecasts within an agreed framework for their relevant portfolio, ensuring that income and expenditure are tracked during the year, and that timely and accurate management information is provided to senior management, budget holders and other stakeholders.

To effectively support the Senior Finance Business Partner and Head of Commercial Finance in the preparation of analysis and scenario planning of annual budgets and finance business plans.

To adequately support your relevant Operational Directors and budget holders to ensure they understand, own and fulfil their financial responsibilities relating to their income and expenditure

To build strong and positive relationships at all levels providing the necessary assistance and professional advice to each stakeholder.

To develop and appraise investment options and tender opportunities, supporting on the development of the financial aspects, whilst working closely with the project leads and colleagues across the charity.

To support the Senior Finance Business Partner ensuring that key financial policies and processes are documented and adhered to.

To deliver the department priorities including the Annual Finance Business plan, personal objectives and performance reviews participating in regular two-way feedback to maintain progress and address issues, leading to a no surprises culture.

Profile

Qualified Accountant e.g. CIMA, ACCA or ACA.

Track record of preparing budgets, producing management reports and analysis to senior managers

Finance business partnering experience within a medium/large sized organisation involving dealing with senior level of management.

Demonstrable track record/experience of managing multiple projects within a business environment

Commercial and financial awareness with the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on a positive financial outcome; to be able to see the bigger organisational financial picture
