Finance Business Partner

Jackson Hogg are pleased to be partnered with a pioneering electronics manufacturing business to recruit for a Finance Business Partner based in Ilminster. This is an exciting opportunity for an influential, dynamic and driven candidate, to join the company on a journey in a site leadership position.

This position will be a lynchpin role in the site, helping to implement a robust forecasting model, holding the business to account for financial delivery alongside driving and challenging business performance.

You will have the chance to make an impact on how they measure and manage the business, with process improvement and effective business reporting supporting informed decision-making being central parts of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Signing off the month end accounts prepared by the Group Finance team.
  • Developing and deploying meaningful reporting, analysis and insight.
  • Working alongside the wider Group Finance team and Business Excellence lead to create effective, self-service reporting to enhance informed decision making within the business.
  • Act as a business partner to the MD and site senior leadership team.
  • Create and driving a culture of strong governance coupled with continuous improvement in business and process to maintain a best-in-class process and data.
  • Ownership of the annual budgeting process for the business including month by month P&L, CAPEX, Balance Sheet and Cash Generation.
  • Ownership of the rolling 12 monthly forecasting model for the business
  • Working with the Business Systems lead and the Group Finance team to drive a best-in-class ERP systems and business process to drive insightful and effective outputs.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience within industry post qualification(s).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous business partnering experience able to provide tangible examples.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Self-motivated and independent as you will be working separately from the Group Finance team.
  • Clear leadership skills and the ability to communicate financial data effectively and influence decision making.
  • Desirable - Lean 6 Sigma Desirable -Experience within the electronics industry or within manufacturing.

Salary : 60000 - 65000
