Finance Business Partner - Cherry Professional - Relationship Led Recruitment : Job Details

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in finance, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for analysing financial performance. If you have a macro understanding of finance and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!The salary is up to £55,000 with hybrid working. Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End Close: Oversee and support the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• KPI Reporting: Prepare and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
• P&L Analysis: Examine and analyze the performance of the Profit & Loss statement to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Management Accounts Pack: Assist in the creation and presentation of the management accounts pack, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present financial data to non-finance stakeholders in an easily understandable manner, providing financial guidance and support.
• Query Management: Address and resolve financial queries in a timely and efficient manner, fostering positive relationships across the business.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a finance role with a focus on month-end close, KPI reporting, and management accounts.
• Strong macro-level understanding of finance with the ability to drill down into the detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to analz large datasets.
• A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with a focus on improving financial processes and business performance.
• Comfortable presenting to and interacting with senior stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications:

• A part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate. 
• Study support will be offered for a candidate that is / wants to study
