Finance Business Partner - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

Retail Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support the operational teams in business decision making through the provision of detailed analysis of key performance indicators.  This is a newly created position which has resulted from a continued and sustained period of growth and investment which in turn will create longer term opportunities.What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

Reporting to the Head of the Finance Director, the key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Supporting the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting processes;
• Supporting the Operational Teams through supply and analysis of forecasts and impact on stock positions and future purchases alongside the operations and supply chain teams;
• Manage the rebate tracking and provisions highlighting any risks/opportunities;
• Supporting with analysis of customer profile and spend;
• Providing monthly analysis on sales performance, future forecasts and key risks and opportunities for the Finance Director and CFO;
• Maintaining and reporting on market share and competitor analysis.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner opportunity:

• Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and have previous experience of undertaking a similar role in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding organisation;
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills will be essential to undertake the role successfully as will the ability to challenge key decision makers to improve processes and performance.
