Description
- Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to department heads and senior management.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
- Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Oversee the finance department's operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve financial performance and financial health.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics for the Finance department.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Work collaboratively with executive leadership to define the financial strategy and direction of the company.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A strong academic background in Finance or a related field.
- Currently studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit industry.
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
