Finance Controller - Reed : Job Details

• Annual Salary: £75,000 - £85,000
• Location: Welwyn Garden City
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, Office based, Hours 8am - 5pm

My exciting new client is seeking a Finance Controller to join their finance team. This role offers a dynamic work environment with substantial opportunities for career progression and development. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and ready to take on a challenging role that spans across various international regions including the UK, Ireland, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

• Report directly to the Group Finance Director and the board of directors.
• Support and collaborate with the Group Finance Director to develop the finance function.
• Analyse commercial operations across different regions and sectors.
• Consolidate group accounts and commercial data.
• Engage with external and international auditors and banks.
• Prepare consolidated year-end statutory accounts and work with Auditors to produce statutory annual returns.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, KPIs, and bank packs.
• Provide commercial analysis including cost base, contract, and margin analysis.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting for Directors.
• Ensure timely completion of balance sheet reviews and oversee various financial processes including fabrication costs, fixed asset register maintenance, and inter-company transactions reconciliations.

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in construction accounting preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
