Finance Director (#1) – SaaS scaleup  

London Hybrid (City office + WFH)

£120/140k + package

Talentedge are delighted to partnering exclusively with a rapid-scale SaaS business on their #1 in finance opportunity.

The business continues to set the industry standard in terms of diversifying and expanding their products and services portfolio as well as global reach.

As the #1 in finance, you will partner closely with the CEO / Founder on driving commercial initiatives and strategies, as well as ensuring that finance acts as a business partnering function to the wider organisation and continues to support global expansion (new products & geographies). 

Key responsibilities to include:

• Alongside CEO, lead on commercial initiatives including future fundraising
• Create business cases for new product launches as well as geographical expansion
• Business partner cross functionally
• Analyse and report on company-wide financial and non-financial KPIs
• Improve and take ownership for the finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable and fully automated
• Own the day-to-day finance function, including monthly Board pack preparation, statutory reporting, tax work and transactional finance (AP / AR etc)
• Utilise Xero & its’ wider ecosystem of apps
• Mentor an ambitious and progressive finance team, in time growing further

Profile:

• Qualified accountant or former investment banker, with a strong academic background
• Finance Director experience from within a high growth scaleup (Series A onwards), with involvement in business transactions (for example fundraising, M&A, new product launches, geographical expansion etc)
• Advanced financial modelling, BI & data visualisation tools experience
• Analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach
• Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business
• Ambitious, driven and detail oriented. Someone who can be trusted to deliver
