Finance Director - Advertising Agency - Media Geeks Recruitment : Job Details

A very well-known Independent Full Service Advertising Agency is looking to recruit a Finance Director on a 4 days a week basis (Hybrid).

The Finance Director's primary responsibility is to ensure that the agency is financially robust and that the processes and systems operating from procurement through to staff utilisation is correctly managed to enable the company to maximise its revenue and profits.

The FD will be commercially minded and support the CEO & MD with its objectives.

• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements

• Prepare annual budget, cash forecast, revenue recognition & forecast

• Audit and improve financial processes & systems

• Manage the Finance team to ensure they perform to their best abilities

• Provide proactive & commercial strategic financial recommendations to allow growth

• Ensure that the business is financially sound and that the finances are managed robustly in line with agreed business plans

• Partnering with MD & Business Leads to prepare business plans providing proactive, strategic advice to improve profitability, plan future growth, allocate resources and reduce costs.
