Finance Director - Trinity Personnel : Job Details

We are recruiting a Finance Director for a well-established company based in Droitwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and qualified finance professional, with a manufacturing background, to step into a key leadership role. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for overseeing all financial operations and will play a central role in driving the company’s financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire finance function, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audit, payroll, VAT, and tax compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including sales and purchase ledger, costing, and the preparation of annual financial returns.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability across the business.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, Purchasing, and Logistics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and other departments to provide strategic financial insights and ensure operational and financial goals are met.
• Take a hands-on approach when necessary to resolve issues and optimize processes within the finance function.

Key Skills & Experience:

• CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong background in financial leadership.
• Significant experience in a financial operations role, ideally within a manufacturing or SME environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with hands-on experience in financial operations.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm, Friday 8:15 am - 3:30 pm (45-minute lunch break).
