FINANCE DIRECTOR

£85,000 - £100,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

SOUTH WEST LONDON

PERMANENT FULL TIME ROLE - HYBRID WORKING

I have partnered with a leading media production company to recruit a Finance Director. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned Financial Controller ready to step into a directorial position, overseeing the financial strategy and operations within a creative industry setting.

You must be ACA/ACCA, or CIMA qualified, fully up to date with all aspects of financial compliance. This is a great opportunity to become part of a successful and rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting process, ensuring completion before the fiscal year-end.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, consolidating them against budget, forecast, and last year's figures.
• Design and produce a relevant set of KPIs monthly.
• Provide quarterly forecasts as required.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and weekly cash flow monitoring.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable, alerting issues to relevant parties.
• Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulations.
• Responsible for the production of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and R&D tax credits.
• Manage payroll and pension schemes.
• Oversee legal responsibilities including the maintenance of client and supplier contracts database and risk management.

Management:

• Direct line management of financial team members.
• Report directly to the senior management once established.
• Serve as a member of the operational board, contributing to strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience at the Financial Controller level, looking to step up to Director role.
• Proficient in financial management and accounting within the media production or related industry.
