Finance Director - Marketplace scaleup  

Hybrid working (2-3 days City office, remainder WFH)

£120k - £130k + options

Operating as the #1 in finance and partnering closely with the CEO / Founder, you will be a data-led and operationally focussed individual who is capable of steering this company through future funding rounds and international expansion.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Lead on company-wide planning, strategy and investor relations
• Own KPI analysis (both financial and non financial), generating meaningful insights to support business decision making
• Operate as a trusted business partner to the CEO, Board and Investors
• Have responsibility for statutory compliance, Board and Investor reporting
• Develop, mentor and in time grow the finance function

Profile essentials:

• Qualified accountant with VC backed marketplace experience as a Finance Director / VP Finance
• Recognised Finance Lead / Director, who is a strong business partner to the CEO / COO
• Analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Ability to use data analytics tools is a must
• Experienced with building best-in-class finance functions, including people/systems/processes
• Exposure to successful fund raising activities
• Strong people management skills, including advising, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders
