Finance Lawyer (5+ years') – Edinburgh or Glasgow

My client has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Lawyer to join its supportive, growing Finance team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role offers the chance to have a real impact while developing professionally.

The Finance team is highly regarded for its expertise in Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Funds Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Real Estate Finance. It handles complex, high-profile matters for financial institutions and borrowers, earning a strong reputation and growing presence in the industry.

The Role:

• Work on a range of banking matters including corporate banking, leveraged finance and real estate finance
• Collaborate with banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers
• Have the opportunity to specialise or gain broader experience in different areas of finance law
• Manage your own cases with supervision and support from senior team members
• Assist senior Partners with more complex matters
• Have opportunities for career development, including potential client secondments

What You Need?To be considered for this role, you should have:

• 5 + years' PQE in banking and finance law
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
• A desire to learn and grow as a lawyer
• The drive to provide excellent client service
• A passion for developing expertise in banking and finance law
