The role will be responsible for the legal entity in the UK and will be reporting into the group finance team in Europe. The role will work with the investment team to develop internal assurance processes and system implementation across the UK entity. The incoming hire will act as a finance partner to the global business to ensure consistency in reporting and to ensure business deadlines are met. What the job involves
  • Responsible for the UK accounting across financial reporting including preparing monthly and annual financial statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts
  • Forecast the company's cash needs and prepare the legal entity budget and report to group team every month end
  • Responsible for process and vendor invoices
  • Relationship management with the auditors through the annual audit
  • Preparation of tax returns
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Payroll and monitor the service providers to ensure the accuracy and payroll
  • Assist the wider group members with cash requirements
  • Manage the procurement processes for the UK entity
  • Act as a bridge between the London office and group office ensuring best practice
Who we are looking for
  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP or IFRS
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
