Finance Manager - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly-growing international organisation based in Andover, Hampshire.  CMA Recruitment Group are assisting their client with the recruitment of an ambitious, experienced Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Controller to supervise the monthly close and assist in the preparation of management accounts ensuring full balance sheet control and reconciliation.  This is a high volume, busy role calling for a resilient individual who can hit the ground running, work at pace and accurately.What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Assist with the closing of month end on a tight deadline and the supervision of a small finance team during the close.  Ensure all month end activities are carried out and monthly balance sheet reconciliations completed.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts with variance commentary.
• Preparation of payroll, pension and expenses; preparation of VAT.
• Good all-round stock and inventory management experience.
• Manage daily financial transactions into Xero working with finance team with strong experience of Xero and systems implementation and organisation migrates to new ERP.
• Overseeing the Trade Finance and Invoice Finance functions.
• Provide support to Financial Controller on various ad hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and proactive approach.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

• Experience in fast moving organisation with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills including ability to lead from front and enjoy being hands on.
• Strong month-end close experience and preparing monthly management accounts.
• Process understanding – ability to document processes.
• Positive mental attitude – maintains can do attitude when under pressure.
