Our client, based in Chorley, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their close-knit team of three. Key Responsibilities:
- Take accounts to trial balance.
- Manage the purchase and sales ledger functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Oversee credit control and manage outstanding payments effectively.
- Assist with ad hoc financial tasks to support the business’s growth objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally AAT qualified or with equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to handle end-to-end accounts, including trial balance, VAT, and reconciliations.
- Strong experience in purchase and sales ledger management.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with bespoke accounting systems.
- A proactive, team-oriented individual who is comfortable working within a small, collaborative team.
- Hybrid working model available for the right candidate.
What’s On Offer:
