Finance Manager - Cedar : Job Details

Intro:

Cedar have partnered with a Global Fintech business to secure a qualified Finance Manager based in Central London. The role is a 12 month contract, paying a day rate of £450-£500 (dependent on experience)

The Company:

This well established Fintech company are experiencing a considerable amount of growth and are going from strength to strength and are now looking to hire a finance manager on a maternity cover for 12 months where you'll be responsible for managing a team of 5 credit controllers and billings assistants.

The Role:

• Oversee a team responsible for the end to end billing process
• Collaborate with the revenue, sales & account management teams to address discrepancies related to billable items
• Manage the month end close process related to the billing function
• Reconcile billing related general ledger accounts
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports
• Support the collection process
• Support external audits
• Maintain compliance with SOX requirements, ensuring controls are in place for all billing and reconciliation process

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant
• Team management experience - ideally managing a billing/credit team
• Experience of working in a large multinational business - Essential
• Experience of working in a Financial services or Fintech business - highly desirable

Along with paying a competitive day rate of £450-£500, the company offers a hybrid working pattern where you'd be expected to work in the office 2-3 days per week.
