Description

The Role:

• Oversee and manage the financial department's daily operations
• Monitor and manage all aspects of the company's finance and accounting
• Ensure financial records are updated accurately and in a timely manner
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, and support with budget preparation, financial analysis and forecasting.
• Optimise business performance through financial insight and analysis.
• Manage financial controls and audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Maintain and foster relationships with internal departments and external partners, such as banks and auditors.

Profile

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a similar financial management and accounting role (Finance Manager, Finance Assistant, Finance Officer)
• Professional finance qualification, preferred but not essential
• Excellent leadership skills
• Able to manage own workload and prioritise tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software
• Strong knowledge of financial services and practices
