Finance Manager
Up to £42,500 per annum

We are on the lookout for a Finance Manager to join a highly motivated and inclusive team. This role is integral to delivering high-quality, cost-effective service and support to the operations and commercial teams. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented number-cruncher and creative thinker, who is not afraid to challenge existing processes and offer workable solutions.
Day to Day of the role:
- Serve as the analytical financial core of the business, with a commitment to understanding all cost drivers and processes in the pick, pack, and distribution operations.
- Produce concise reports and analyses that are easily understood by various stakeholders.
- Support and liaise confidently with the senior management team.
- Collate and report weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information.
- Handle day-to-day and month-end reporting.
- Partner with operational and account management teams to ensure excellence in data billing and customer services.
- Engage in continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business or financial roles, ideally with a logistics or similar background.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of financial procedures, management accounts, ledgers, accruals, and prepayments.
- Ability to question and challenge data and processes with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to investigate and analyse data, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Dynamic and self-motivated, capable of working autonomously and managing conflicting demands.
- Finalist and Above (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) is preferred
