Finance Manager - JMF Associates : Job Details

A new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an award-winning Technology business based in West Sussex. You will report directly to the Managing Director, and manage the finance function on a sole-charge basis.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-

• Oversee an Accounts Assistant
• Oversight of Accounts Payable/Receivable and credit control
• Review supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing credit cards and expenses
• Reconciliation of bank and invoice financing statements/ledger
• Entry of journals to Xero for depreciation, stock, and prepayments
• Full reconciliation of month end from the ERP system to the accounting system
• Production of detailed management accounts, including departmental reporting
• Production of annual budgets, and variance analysis
• VAT
• Liaise with external Accountants at year-end

Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-

• AAT Qualified, CIMA PQ or Qualified by Experience
• Proven experience in a similar role
• SME background
• To be 'hands-on’ and proactive
• First-rate systems skills
• Excellent communication skills
