Key Responsibilities:
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Oversee accounting for UK entities, including interest, expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage payroll, VAT, and other tax obligations, ensuring compliance with UK tax laws.
- Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors for UK entities and Group accounts.
- Collaborate with external auditors on UK tax compliance matters.
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts for UK companies.
- Handle the payment of UK invoices and manage UK bank accounts.
- Maintain the UK management services agreement and recharges.
- Assist in group budget processes, including financial modelling and presentation support.
- Act as finance lead on accounting system implementation, from design to testing.
- Manage the company’s statutory books and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with loan management and liaise with stakeholders on loan requirements.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and provide additional assistance as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Fluency in French is a must.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within financial services or Private Equity.
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS reporting, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in managing operational budgets and producing long-term financial forecasts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
