Our client, a €40m division of a $2bn Tech business, is partnered with Aila to recruit an Accountant into their team on a permanent basis.About the Company:

The Role:The Finance Manager looks after a small division within the business, taking responsibility for all the transactional and month end tasks, reporting into the Finance Director. This is an all-encompassing role and will suit somebody looking for a varied position.Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the accounts Payable & Receivable functions for Europe
• Period End journal posting, reconciliation and period/month end close
• Preparing Bank reconciliations for bank accounts.
• Preparation of financial returns due to the Irish Regulator
• Processing Daily and Ad-hoc Payments
• Bank Postings, Allocations & Reconciliations of operational accounts
• Processing Supplier invoices on D365
• Raising re-charge invoicing for intercompany customers
• Preparation of periodic balance sheet reconciliations
• Overview of purchase orders & following up with PO approvers to receipt POs
• Providing support on project work where needed
• Assisting the Finance Director streamlining internal processes and procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant with experience operating in a similar capacity
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercially curious mindset
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to build relationships across all levels
• Confident and assuring individual with strong communication skills
