FINANCE MANAGER

£65,000 - £75,000 PA + BONUS

SOUTH WEST LONDON

PERMANENT FULL TIME HYBRID ROLE

I have partnered with a leading consultancy firm to recruit an experienced Qualified Finance Manager to play a key role in the delivery of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting services to their clients. You will be a focused and self-motivated individual, ideally with some practice experience. This role will progress to Financial Controller so would suit someone looking to take their next step in the profession. Great modern offices with good links to public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee business finances, including management of overseas subsidiaries.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial and accounting systems.
  • Manage cash flow planning and credit control processes.
  • Prepare year-end accounts files and oversee accounting processes.
  • Assist in leading the finance team, fostering motivation and development.
  • Ensure financial and administrative compliance.
  • Support IT and telecommunications infrastructure management.
  • Prepare financial reports, accounts, forecasts, and other financial documentation.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and maintain fee forecasts and budgets.
  • Oversee UK VAT and France TVA returns, payment authorisations, and payroll administration.
  • Review expenses claims and support the bookkeeping and accounting team as needed.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of bookkeeping and accounting services to clients.
  • Participate in business development opportunities and client onboarding processes.

Person Specification:

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Proven financial management experience in an SME environment.
  • Practice background with client-facing experience is ideal.
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills with initiative to improve business operating and reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of UK VAT and France TVA returns.
  • Ability to manage and develop a finance team.
  • Client-facing experience with strong client service orientation

Salary : 65000 - 75000
