Finance Manager - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established business in the Exeter area.

This is a lead finance role, reporting into the Managing Director where you will take on a key position within the organisation.

Key duties will include:

• Overall responsibility of the day to day running of the finance department
• Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts.
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts information and liaising with external auditors.
• Preparation of detailed cash flow and treasury management.
• Day to day book-keeping within the company as required.
• Oversee weekly and monthly payroll.
• Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE and corporation tax.
• Preparation of yearly budgets and forecasts.
• Manage accounts receivable reviewing credit risk and customer payment performance.
• Manage accounts payable including monthly payment runs.
• Provide margin analysis, highlighting key trends and potential issues.
• Support with a variety of HR tasks to comply with legislation.

The successful candidate will either be formally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience. You will be able to work in a hands on, varied finance role in a small business, working with a wide range of people.
