Finance Manager - Absolute Recruit : Job Details

Finance Manager Opportunity We’re recruiting on behalf of an innovative SME technology business based in London looking for a Finance Manager to join in early January. Location: London (1 day per week in-office; 4 days flexible)Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annumKey Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for three entities.
• Manage statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines (e.g., Companies House).
• Oversee an offshore finance team to maintain data integrity.
• Report directly to the Strategy Director, providing actionable financial insights.

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 2+ years PQE.
• Proven experience in statutory and management accounts preparation.
• Familiarity with SME businesses or advisory roles is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results.
• QuickBooks experience is a bonus but not required.
