Finance Manager

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Reed Finance are working with an exciting business that is going through a period of growth that are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting for an innovative company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing accounts within a small to medium-sized business, who is looking for an opportunity to shape and lead financial strategies remotely.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Responsible for the comprehensive management of the business’s accounting needs.
• Handle tasks such as raising sales invoices, payment reconciliations, and managing credit control.
• Process supplier invoices, make payments, and issue remittance advice.
• Manage daily financial operations including payroll, expenses, invoices, and other transactions.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation charges.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning processes.
• Present financial reports to senior managers, external accountants, and partners as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing all aspects of accounts in a small to medium-sized business.
• Strong commercial and business awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective, efficient, and future-proof processes and procedures.
• Capability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
• Potential and desire to lead and motivate others as the team and business grow.
