Finance Manager - Reed : Job Details

Reed Finance is excited to be partnering on a retained basis with a high growth business based in Emersons Green looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team.Salary circa. £50,000 + generous benefits + equity options.

This role is critical for business succession planning and offers a real opportunity to make a difference both to the business and your career. The successful candidate will start as a Finance Manager with the aim of developing into a Finance Director over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Preparation of accruals and prepayments
• Stock Reconciliation
• Month-end reporting
• VAT Reconciliation and Submission
• CIS Reconciliation and Submission
• Cash Forecasting
• Analysis Reporting, requiring a good knowledge of Excel
• Working to deadlines and under pressure
• Assisting other team members, including covering sales ledger invoices 
• Learning from the bottom up, including sales and purchase ledger processes
• Exposure to supporting Acquisition activity.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Team player with a can-do attitude
