Finance Manager - JMF Associates : Job Details

A rapidly expanding business services group is seeking a Finance Manager to join a small dedicated team, based in North Kent. Reporting to the MD you will oversee a team of two and be happy dealing with the everyday finance function. Duties will include:-

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-

• Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger, including month-end reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers to discuss payment terms
• Chasing overdue invoices and weekly aged debtor analysis
• Full monthly management accounts
• Profit and loss, accruals and prepayments
• Payroll weekly & monthly
• Detailed cashflow analysis ensuring that the MD is aware of any potential debts
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review budgets keeping tight control of cost

Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-

• Qualified by experience or an active studier
• SME background
• Hands-on, posting journals and reconciling accounts
• Excellent communication skills
• First-rate MS Excel skills
