Finance Manager Tipton£50,000 - £60,000Monday to Friday We are looking for a Finance Manager with experience within the Construction industry to work for a leading Civil Engineering business based in Tipton. You will serve as a trusted business partner and strategic advisor to the Directors and make long-term financial decisions for the company. Daily duties will include:
Management Accounts –
- Complete accurate monthly management accounts within remit
- Maintain and audit consistent policies, processes and procedures within the finance team
- Preparation of regular forecasting
- Produce annual budgets for all companies
- Lead regular Management Accounts meetings with key stakeholders
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations
Group Treasury –
- Produce robust and accurate cashflows for all companies in the Group
- Consolidate Group and non-Group cashflows ensuring good test and challenge to the numbers
- Ensure all group cash is making the best interest as possible
- Ensure that mortgages are achieving the best rates at the right times
- Maintain up-to-date lease schedules for all Group-owned and leased properties.
Experience required:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with at least 5 years post-qualified experience or QBE by at least 8 years
- Previous experience within a construction, house building and/or contracting environment
- Proven experience of growing a business and increasing profitability
- Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
