Finance Manager - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

CMA is partnering with a growing Portsmouth Based Defence organisation on an exclusive basis to recruit and experienced finance manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a key role in their future growth. You will lead the transactional finance team and production of management accounts. Ideally you will be qualified or part qualified and actively studying.What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Production of management accounts including commentary and presentation to the board.
• Ownership of all cashflow and associated reporting.
• Lead on the budgeting and forecasting process including liaising with departmental heads.
• Management of a team of 4 covering transactional finance and payroll.
• Other ad hoc duties within finance.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

• Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified and actively studying.
• Previous experience in a defence/manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Strong management accounts skillset
• Previous team management experience would be preferred
