Altum are pleased to be partnered with a global media / entertainment business to help source a brand-new Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of UK consolidated financial statements, covering P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and other disclosure requirements. This is a great opportunity to work in a new finance function and work closely with the Head of Financial Accounting.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Adherence to strict month-end reporting timeline to submit forms and templates to Group FP&A for Group Consolidation.
- Work collaboratively and in partnership with Business Accounting Finance Manager, and Finance Manager - Balance Sheet Governance & Control, to collate UK consolidated management and statutory financial statements.
- Adherence to Group Accounting policy, UK GAAP and other standards as required.
- Act as main point of contact with Group FP&A for Group Consolidation.
- Act as main accounting point of contact for statutory reporting, tax and treasury teams.
Key skills & qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW or ACCA)?
- Relevant post qualification experience in a similar or related role ?
- Experience in technical financial reporting requirements for a complex multi business organisation?.
- Customer service orientation?
- Ability to work as part of virtual multi-location team?.
- Excellent team management skills?
- Good communication and cross functional stakeholder management skills.?
