We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our wonderful Christian organisation based in Coventry. We want someone who shares our values, mission and beliefs. Your main responsibility is to manage and assist with all of the financial company needs as listed below; You will be working closely with the Finance Director and Finance Team
We are considering this role to be part time or hybrid/ full time
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external providers
- Recording payroll data in Sage200
- Keeping accurate records of employee hours and salaries
- Calculating overtime, salary increases timesheet payments
- Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
- Issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms
- Answering employee questions about payroll
- Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
- Deducting tax and national insurance payments
- Process invoices
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Participate in financial audits
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Assist with budget preparation
- Review and implement financial policies
Qualifications / Skillset
Part ACCA or ACCA qualified
- Knowledge of UK Accounts
- Experience in a similar finance officer role
- To be an evangelical Christian and partake in prayer mornings and devotions
- People person
- Knowledge of Sage
- Team player

- Salary 25-35k / negotiable depending on experience / part time or full time etc
