Position: Finance Project Manager

Job Type: Full-timeLocation: St Albans Pay: up to £55,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Overview:The successful finance project manager will lead the project to update and modernise our clients existing finance system and all associated processes. You will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle. You will work closely with finance, IT and key stakeholders to ensure their new system will meet the company’s needs and the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive, project plan, outlining scope, objectives, timelines and resources.
• Define project and roles and responsibilities & establish clear lines of communication among team member and stakeholders
• Engage with finance, IT, and other departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee the design, development and testing and implementation of the new finance system
• Develop and manage the project budget

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business admin, IT or related field
• PMI, Prince2 Foundation, or any other project management certificate
• Experience managing projects particularly finance or IT projects with a focus on system updates or implementations
• Strong understanding of Finance systems, processes and best practices
