A large plc based with offices across the UK is recruiting a Financial Accountant to support a key accounting area focusing on best practice, process improvement and financial controls. The company offers very flexible, mainly remote working with just 1 or 2 days a month in their Bristol office. The main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:
- Management of fixed assets registers.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and making recommendations.
- Collaborating across finance and the business on best practice initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant role is likely to:
- Be a late stage studier, newly qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
- Possess good financial / statutory accounting knowledge.
- Be an excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
