Financial Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Accountant for a multinational manufacturer with a Head Office based in Bradford. This varied role will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of financial reporting while also working closely with the Senior Leadership team

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Controller and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:

• Prepare the working capital forecast / budget for the UK business
• Prepare the statutory accounts for 6 entities ensuring all audit requirements are fully addressed
• Develop Capital Forecasting aligned to reported actuals and expected cashflow outflow
• 3rd party relationship management - manage external audit, tax & insurance and where applicable internal audit programs

The Candidate

To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CA / ACCA)
• Demonstrable knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS and FRS 102
• Experience in preparing or auditing statutory accounts
• Excellent Excel skills, ideally with knowledge of Oracle

Salary & Benefits

In return, the successful Management Accountant will receive the following:

• £50,000 - £60,000 base salary
• Bonus
• Matched pension up to 10%
• Hybrid working patterns from the Bradford office
• Free onsite parking
