Financial Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyThis global business has expanded significantly in recent years, through organic growth and multiple acquisitions, both in the UK and internationally. They're expanding their diverse finance team and looking for new talent to join them with various positions open.Your new roleYou will support in the preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual), and ensuring accurate compliance, and assist with production of monthly Group consolidation, gathering and validating financial information. You will develop the group-level balance sheet reconciliations, support the management of the annual audit process, and implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and maintain data integrity. You'll also drive process improvements and various automation initiatives to drive the efficiency of financial reporting. What you'll need to succeedYou'll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with strong Excel skills, and knowledge of IFRS, and experience within a group accounting function. You will have excellent attention to detail, and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ideally, you will have experience with preparing financial statements and with consolidation.
