Financial Accountant - £40-45k - Blackburn/Hybrid

Role Overview:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial information.

• Support preparation of financial statements.

• Assist with various accounting and compliance tasks.

Duties:

• Prepare UK GAAP Statutory Financial Statements.

• Roll forward dormant companies.

• Convert management accounts from US GAAP to FRS 102.

• Develop SOX and compliance processes.

• Month-end reporting for UK and overseas entities.

• Perform intercompany reconciliations.

• Prepare audit packs and analyze financial data.

• Assist with payroll and annual budget.

• Provide support for legal, pensions, R&D, and professional fees.

• Conduct UK tax computation and year-end Sage rollover.

• Review statutory accounts for small foreign entities.

• Prepare national statistics and VAT returns.

• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Experience:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Finalist.

• Knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102.

• Multicurrency and intercompany experience.
